And it needs clarity in place of cleverness, because a public service should be obvious to use, which is why we design for the person who is in a hurry, under stress, and on whatever device happens to be to hand.
What we build

We bring in AI where it genuinely improves a service, and we are especially careful here, because public sector AI has to be explainable, fair and accountable to citizens, with no black boxes making decisions about people's lives.
