We imagine a world where technology and sustainability pull in the same direction rather than against each other, and where the organisations working to make things better have digital tools worthy of the task.

Technology has extraordinary power to help or to harm, and too often the tools built to change the world for the better are the weakest, the least funded, and the first to be neglected. We would like to change that, in our corner of the field at least.
We are working towards a future in which digital innovation is a force for environmental and social good rather than an afterthought to it. A future in which the organisations tackling the hardest problems, from climate change to inequality, have applications and tools that amplify their impact rather than holding it back. A future in which collaborative, autonomous ways of working are ordinary rather than remarkable, because they tend to produce better work and healthier organisations. And a future in which the distance between what technology can do and what sustainable development needs is a good deal smaller than it is today.
We are a small company and we are realistic about that, but a vision is worth having even when your part in it is modest. Ours is to keep building the best tools we can for the organisations doing this work, to keep our own practice honest and sustainable, and to keep proving that technology built with care and purpose is worth more than technology built merely to impress.
