About The Client
Smith & Partner are a successful art brokerage on Union Street in London – Run by enthusiastic, young and knowledgeable professionals with a deep passion for art.
Both a supplier to fanatics, and a brokerage for investors, they are fast making a substantial mark on the London market. We had a breadth of introductory and exploratory meetings to capture the essence of the business and come up with some designs & ideas that truly reflected the brand from the inside and projected it outwards effectively.
About The Project
Smith & Partners’ previous website was originally created as a stop-gap to promote the brand from its inception on the Wix platform. It had become somewhat dated and was no longer fit for purpose. There were reams of legacy code, and the site was not ranking at all on search engines.
The art industry carries with it a very specific expectation, or stereotype if you will, on how a site should look. We wanted to embrace this trend, but weave it with an AndAnotherDay twist of vibrance, individuality and User Experience.
This gave us plenty to think about when it came to creating the visual designs, and the customer journey.

Our Approach
For the website, we wanted something clean and simple, yet interest-grabbing and slightly unconventional. We took inspiration from the greats of the gallery world, and incorporated it with Smith & Partner’s own professional branding. These elements combined with the innovative, simplistic ideas of AndAnotherDay, we came up with something that pulls the best elements from some of the featured art and created interchangeable elements within the theme we built.
The primary goal of the website is to attract, engage and convert potential investors within the art space, and also to create a sleek shop where collectors or aesthetic buyers can purchase directly.
Finding the middle ground for three separate personas and appealing to all of them simultaneously was key.

The Results
Within three months, we had marked a significant increase in SEO ranking, and a 355% uplift in inbound leads.
The cost per click through our PPC campaign was half that of its Google-managed counterpart, but twice as effective.
We continue to strive and do our best for Smith & Partner, and facilitate the levels of growth and expansion we have seen so far.
