Last week, we caught up with Tom, Kieran and Sandy about VR, horror movies, Rick & Morty-themed watercooling and Great British Bake Off and much more. This week, we chatted to AndAnotherDay founder, Keiron, and AAD developer and support hero, Jose. We also checked in with Ben, our content and marketing guy (that’s actually me – hello).

Keiron Roberts, Founder
What do you do?
I’m the founder, having started AndAnotherDay in 2019. In my day-to-day role I focus on three things: talking to our clients, creating new client proposals and managing projects and expectations. You’ll also find me designing and coding from time-to-time.
What do you get upto outside of work?
I have a Land Rover Defender, which I want to convert to an electric vehicle. I enjoy running, and need to get back into it. I have three daughters, so hobbies take a bit of a backseat at the moment. I’m also really into music and it’s helped form a lot of who we are and what we’re about at AndAnotherDay.
Is there any recent consumer tech that got you excited?
It has to be the Polestar 2. But I would say that, as a proud Polestar customer. Electric vehicles in general are very exciting to me, but I really like what Polestar are doing from a design and technology perspective. And they’re just all-out fun.
A recent work highlight?
Most recently, getting new clients. No referrals or previous connections, just brand new clients who found us and liked what we do. Sales hasn’t always been something that I am comfortable with, but I have found that being open, honest and knowledgeable to prospects can get us some great projects and brilliant people to work with.
Jose M. García, Developer & Support
What do you do?
I aim to provide personalised customer service to help any of our clients who are facing technical problems. I give instructions or directly solve the problem. These support and maintenance tasks include keeping our clients’ websites up to date, increasing their security by patching vulnerabilities so that they are protected against attacks.
What do you get upto outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking for them. I also love to ride my bike with my son on the weekends. Lately, I am supervising our new home construction, and working on it when I can.
Is there any recent consumer tech that got you excited?
Probably my eight year old son’s PlayStation. I wish I had a toy like that in my childhood!
A recent work highlight?
Too many to name, but most recently, helping a charity, a furniture vendor and a coffee company to all resolve their issues and improve their websites.
Ben Horsley-Summer, Content & Marketing
What do you do?
I work with AAD on their marketing, agreeing themes and focuses with the team, before producing the content and the various social assets that go alongside it. I do this for a handful of digital agencies, but really like AAD’s approach. They’re not afraid to get technical and really dive into meaty topics like smart cities, fintech, 5G etc.
What do you get upto outside of work?
If you’d have asked me last year, I would have said DIY. But after almost ten years of slowly renovating our house, I have run out of things to do. So more recently you can find me exploring the UK with my wife, perhaps playing Warzone on the PS4 or tinkering with my old BMW.
Is there any recent consumer tech that got you excited?
Like Kieran, I am also going to say the Oculus Quest 2. The first Quest passed me by and I didn’t really know or understand how good consumer VR had become. By chance, I used the Quest 2 at a digital agency over in Hampshire for the first time, and it left me speechless. I bought one later that evening.
A recent work highlight?
Obviously working on content for AAD. I’ve really enjoyed the fintech and smart cities series. And now that offices and studios are starting to open up again I’ve enjoyed taking photos for agencies.
So that’s us. Thanks for taking the time out to read a little more about who we are and what we do. We’ll be back to our steady stream of tech and development content next week.
