And Another Month: Our September Update

Please forgive our radio silence for the last week or two – it’s been a busy month! We’re deep in some exciting projects, whilst we also grow the AndAnotherDay team as we take on bigger, bolder things. Here’s a lowdown of what we’ve been up to as an agency.

Keiron gets Fully Charged

AndAnotherDay founder, Keiron, spent some time at Robert Llewellyn’s Fully Charged – a festival of electric vehicles and clean energy. Fully Charged is a hub of cutting-edge tech and transport innovation, all with the planet in mind. This was a fully outdoor event, which made it COVID-safe, and provided a great opportunity for us to meet many people that we’d only met virtually until now.

Sadly, we came home with no new toys, but it’s exciting to see where the industry is heading and how each and every vehicle or energy solution is so fundamentally reliant on a beautiful and well-built digital platform to power it. It’s reassuring to see that the EV and energy markets put so much value in good digital design.

We grew our design team

As our agency headcount continues to grow, we are welcoming a new designer to the team, who will not only work alongside our tech team to help design and build more brilliant platforms, products and dashboards, but also work on various AndAnotherDay brand elements.

We’re not rebranding, but we certainly have some tweaks to make, on and offline, which is being referred to internally as AAD 2.0. Keep your eyes peeled for a ‘welcome to the team’ blog, where we’ll introduce our new member, and also a teaser of what we’ve got in-store, brand-wise.

We're still hiring!

As mentioned on LinkedIn by Keiron, we are looking for more talented people to join AndAnotherDay. Right now, we’re looking for a Laravel Developer to join our tech team. The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and development of websites specifically using Laravel.

A strong knowledge of web app development using PHP and MySQL is essential for this role. But if  you have experience with Vue.js and ReactJS, that would be a huge advantage.

It’s certainly worth mentioning that this isn’t your average development role. From your first day, you’ll be involved in a huge range of projects. How do the following sound?

  • A web application for the future of world transport
  • Prehistoric data collection and retrieval
  • A brand new SaaS application
  • An application for a major credit card company

If you’re interested in the role, or know of anyone who would be suitable, please do get in touch with us or apply directly here.
